Africa UK trade relations

I am interested in what the press in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and other African countries, more so than non-African press or even diaspora Africans, have to say about matters like the visit of Theresa May and the U.K. trade delegation; and how beneficial or not to Africa are the deals being brokered.

There is no question in my mind that great trade and development opportunities lie ahead between the former colonial powers and former colonies – now as partners.  The much needed future development of African countries and their people depend on African political, business and civic leaders maximising the potential of new partnerships not only with the U.K., but the EU, China, the US, Asian countries and of course reconnecting with the Caribbean and Africans in the diaspora.

In solidarity!
